In guiding yoga classes, I cue for proper alignment, and I also encourage you to create your own practice by listening to your breath and relying on your own intuition. I provide options throughout class, inviting you to shape your practice by making postures more challenging or more restful, choosing movements guided by the principle of doing that which, in the current moment, is most beneficial for body and spirit. What to expect:
I offer yoga classes that are open to all levels of practitioners. My comfortably paced practice is designed to refresh your body, mind, and spirit. We will focus on integrating breath and movement. You will be invited to explore modifications and adaptations as you develop strength, balance, and flexibility. We will begin and end with a centering meditative practice.
What to bring:
- Yoga mat
- Comfortable, athletic clothes
- Water and a towel, if you like
